Some comments from people who come up to the forum virtually this model:
Annotate:
What else can be told nigh this icon of Fender amps? Well, I had 3 of it over the past xx years (original and reissue) and they never dissapointed me or let me down. The over all build quality is excellent, the tone is simply pure Fender with lots of balls. Fits all kinds of music from smooth jazz to hard rock and all the fashion betwixt and beyond. It sounds non every bit harsh every bit a Hot Rod Palatial or Deville. Like Fender says, it'south more than a "tweedy" tone from the early Fender times. Kinda Tweed Deluxe on steroids. If you decide for yourself, 40 watts is way too much, try JJ 6V6S instead of the 6L6GC in the output phase. (ONLY this JJ 6V6S can handle the 425 volts at the anode! Call back to conform bias!!!) This will reduce the power downwardly to 18 -20 watts without harming the amp. I made it a couple of times merely I switched back to 6L6, considering I am (and wanna exist) pretty loud on stage. And this affair IS loud! The stock speaker is a pretty nice sounding chassis but I changed to an alnico speaker from creamsound.de. Information technology'south also an hugh improvement to go for a Celestion Creamback.
And of class, it looks cute, right?
BTW: comes with cover and footswitch.
Guitar->cable->amp. Yous'll never need anything else to accept corking tone on stage.
Comment:
I employ information technology for practice with the band and bigger concerts, and does the job great!
Pros:
-Great sound with a lot of headroom on the clean channel!
-Perfect for gigging
-The jump reverb in information technology sounds perfect to me
-Great look
-Take pedals really well
Cons:
-Heavy to transport
-The dirty aqueduct cuts out the lower frequencies
-The stock speaker is not really the best for this amp
If you are looking for a archetype Fender gigging amp with a lot of headroom and the archetype spring reverb, this is the 1!
I change the stock speaker with a Jensen C12N and running a external chiffonier with a Jensen C15N. With the volume over vi and driving it with a booster, blows away your listen! It actually is a great "wall of sound".
The simply thing that bother me is the muddy channel, with those lower frequencies disappearing.

Information technology is not without reason that the Fender amps of the tweed era (named afterwards the amp's fabric cover) have such a bang-up reputation as the ideal amplifiers for blues and rock 'n' roll. On the ane hand, they evangelize well-baked cleans at a moderate volume, which is often hard to find. On the other mitt, turning upward the volume releases a soft, flossy distortion – lying across the fine line betwixt clean and crunch – that is simply unrivalled. The Reissue Blues Deluxe offers two channels, 1 of which is predestined for the clean department, while the other can exist made to sing at a civil volume by adjusting the master volume. Practically all practiced sounds between Bassman and Deluxe tin can be uced. With the Eminence 12″ speaker, the amp has enough power to fill up small clubs with plenty of sound. The proper name says it all: The Blues Deluxe is an outstanding amp (not only, merely especially) for blues and all other styles where warm, harmonically distorted sounds are desired.

| The proper name Peavey used to stand for very inexpensive amps of boilerplate quality. In the interim, however, they have since worked their mode upwards into the higher echelons of the amp class arrangement – which is most recently evident with the especially tailor-made for Eddie Van Halen 5150 amp. The Peavey Classic Series of all-tube amps have become some of the most popular tube amps ever, which is partly still due to the reasonable price (for tube amps), only as well due to the really skillful audio of their components. The Classic 30 Tweed delivers 30 watts from 4x EL84 power tubes to a 12″ speaker, which is reminiscent of the classic amps (such as Fender or Vocalism), and the sound is on point. Too as the traditional clean channel this amp also has a modern lead channel with a principal volume. No wonder the Classic 30 itself has almost become a classic.
